This is the task type for executing a specific API call in Sage Intacct. Please remember that only some of the API calls are enabled in eaConnect currently.
Prerequisites
A connection has been configured for Sage Intacct and connection test is successful.
Create Task type Sage API Call
- From eaConnect home screen, go to Build->Tasks
- Click on “Create New” button
- Enter Following details on the screen
| Name | Enter a name for the task |
| Description | Enter a description for the task |
| Task Type | Choose the “Sage API Call” from dropdown |
| Connection | Choose your Connection for Sage from the dropdown |
- Enter task specifc details on the screen
| Integration Name | Choose Integration name from the dropdown |
| Integration Specific Fields |
Depending on the Integration name chosen from the dropdown you may get few other optional fields for the API call. E.g. if choose “get_trialbalance”, you have the option to provide following fields –

| Fiel Name | Name of the file where data is saved |
| Fields Order | Enter Order of the field in the file. (Optional) |
| File Header | Enter the header for the file. (Optional) |
- Press “Save” button
