EA Connect - SFTP Get Files Documentation
This documentation provides an overview of the SFTP Get Files method in EA Connect. The SFTP Get Files method allows users to download files from a remote server using the SFTP protocol.
Before using the SFTP Get Files method, you need to configure the SFTP connection parameters. These typically include the following details:
Enter these connection details in the in the connection section provided in EA Connect. Ensure that the connection information is accurate and valid to establish a successful SFTP connection.
Once the SFTP connection is configured, you can utilize the SFTP Get Files method to download files from the remote server. Follow these steps to utilize the method:
1.Open the EA Connect web application in your web browser.
2.Log in to your EA Connect account using your credentials.
3.Go to the “Task” section and click on “Create New” Button.
4.Specify the remote directory path for which you want to get the file and fill the other details.Then click on the “Save” button.
5.Now go to “Flow” section and Click on “Create New”.
6.Fill required fields and click on “Add Task”. Then, select the SFTP Get File Task
7.Click on “Save” button to save the flow.
8.Now click on “Execute” button to execute the flow.
9.EA Connect will establish an SFTP connection using the provided credentials.
10.EA Connect will send the SFTP "Get" command to the remote server, requesting the file listing for the specified directory.
11.EA Connect will retrieve the specified files from the remote server and save them to the local destination directory.
