Pigment Import task in EAConnect
This task Imports data to Pigment Planning Application based on the Config ID provided in the task as a parameter.
¶ Prerequisite
A connection has been configured to Pigment Planning App with the Import API Key, and the connection test is active. Please receive the API key from the pigment customer representative. Note: Pigment has different API key for Import and Export tasks. (All import can use the same Import API key and All Export tasks can use the same Export API key.
1. Create a new connection with API key (if the connection is not already present). Go to Build→ Connections and click create new connection.
2. Enter the connection information and save. Process for creating the Pigment Export API connection is same.
¶ Create Pigment Import Task
1. Navigate to the Task section in EAConnect and create a new task
2. Enter the name and description. Select task type Pigment Import, select the Connection created for Pigment import, Enter the Config ID of the item in Pigment that needs to receive the data from the file. Enter the csv file name that need to be imported to pigment Application.
3. Verify the Task shows up under the Pigment Import Connection.
