Anaplan Action Task in EAConnect
This task can run Anaplan Import, Export, and Process for the Anaplan Connection.
¶ Prerequisite
A connection has been configured to Anaplan Workspace, and the connection test is active. The Anaplan Integration user has a Workspace admin role. The actions (Import, Export actions, and Processes) are already defined in the Anaplan Model. The Anaplan Metadata Load task has already been executed. Metadata task execution brings all the available workspaces, models, and actions for the Anaplan connection. Make sure to run the Metadata task frequently to bring any newly created actions/model information.
¶ Create Anaplan Action Task
1. Navigate to the Tasks section in EAConnect and create a new task
2. Enter the name and description. Select Task type ‘Anaplan Action’ from the dropdown, Select the Anaplan Connection, and select one of the 4 action types (Import, Export, Processes, actions)
4. Once the action type is selected, the other required input field will appear for selecting the relevant action/process/action/import in Anaplan. Select the desired action/process/action/import and save the task.
5. Verify the Task shows up under the Anaplan Connection.
