Salesforce Connection - Basic Authentication with Token
This connection requires 4 parameters.
- Login URL
- User ID
- Password
- User Token
Go to Build→Connection→Create New, select Salesforce Token Authentication as Connection Type, and specify the values before saving it.
Salesforce user should be setup with permissions to read the data needed for this integration. User should be enabled for API access (example instructions). User access token can be generated using these steps:
- From your personal settings, in the Quick Find box, enter Reset, and then select Reset My Security Token.
- Click Reset Security Token. The new security token is sent to the email address in your Salesforce personal settings.
You also receive a new security token email when you reset your password.
