SFTP Basic Connection (username + password) in EAConnect
This documentation provides instructions on configuring an SFTP Basic connection using the host, username, and password fields. Follow the steps below to establish the SFTP connection:
SFTP Connection in EAConnect
The following configuration values are required to connect to SFTP.
- Host
- Port
- Username
- Password
¶ Prerequisite
Access the SFTP Configuration section in the application or tool where you intend to establish the SFTP connection.
Locate the "Host" field and enter the hostname or IP address of the SFTP server. This information specifies the destination server for the SFTP connection.
Find the "Username" field and provide the username associated with the SFTP account. This username is used to authenticate and authorize access to the server.
Locate the "Password" field and enter the password associated with the provided username. The password is used to authenticate the user and establish the SFTP connection.
Once you have filled in the required fields, save the configuration settings.
¶ Create SFTP Basic Connection
- In EAConnect, click Create New.
2. Enter the information obtained to set up the connection and click save.
3. Confirm that the connection is active and not Idle.
