MSSQL Connection in EAConnect
The following configuration values are required to connect to MSSQL.
- DB Server
- DB Name
- Port
- User
- Password
¶ Prerequisite
Request your client representative to get the IP address of EA Connect whitelisted.
DB Server, DB Name, Port – Contact your client representative for this information.
UID, & Password – Request a new User and Password created to Access the MSSQL DB. This User will be used as an Integration user within EAConnect to connect to MSSQL. Please have the necessary roles assigned to the integration user.
¶ Create MSSQL Connection
- In EAConnect, click Create New.
2. Enter the information obtained to set up the connection and click save.
3. Confirm that the connection is active and not Idle.
